We hope you enjoyed your long weekend, Victoria!

This week, from Tuesday, August 5th to Sunday, August 10th, Ogden Point will see 13 cruise ships and a total of 40,178 tourists dock in our beautiful city.

We can expect a slow start, as there aren’t any ships scheduled for Tuesday, and Wednesday only has the Carnival Luminosa arriving at 8 p.m. with 2,260 people.

Thursday will see a big jump in numbers, with three arriving: the Anthem of the Seas bright and early at 8 a.m., with 4,919 passengers; the Riviera at 1 p.m. with 1,328 passengers; and the Celebrity Edge at 5 p.m. with 2,918 passengers.

The Riviera is known as the small, but luxurious ship with Oceania Cruises, and has been elegantly crafted and tailored to culinary and travel connoisseurs.

Despite its size, it doesn’t lack in dining experiences as Riviera offers multiple venues—six of which are open-seating gourmet restaurants with no surcharge.

According to their website, La Reserve by Wine Spectator creates some of the most memorable and exclusive food, wine and Champagne experiences.

It was built in 2012, resting at 784.9 feet long and a tonnage of 66,084.

The cruise ships to follow are as such:
