This week, Victoria will see a range of weather conditions that will begin with clouds and showers, but will culminate for a sunny, beautiful weekend.

Tuesday, August 19th is off to a cloudy start, and Environment Canada is forecasting the clouds to remain looming over Victoria through the day and into the evening.

The predicted high on Tuesday is 20°C with a wind gusting at up to 30 km/h near the water. Overnight, the forecast calls for temperatures to drop to 12°C, with a 30% chance of showers.

According to Environment Canada, the showers will continue on into Wednesday, with rain expected to come and go throughout the day. The high on Wednesday is expected to be 20°C once again, with cooler temperatures near the water. Overnight the rain should clear up, but temperatures will dip down to around 11°C.

On Thursday, the sun is expected to return to the region, along with warm temperatures of 24°C through the day, and an overnight low of 12°C.

Friday will continue Thursday’s momentum, with highs reaching up to 25°C and Environment Canada calling for clear, sunny skies.

On the weekend, temperatures will rise up to a predicted 27°C on Saturday, with Sunday’s highs only slightly lower, at 25°C. The forecast calls for clear skies and cool evenings through the weekend, with lows ranging from 11°C to 12°C.

After a rainy weekend, this forecast is a good chance for Victorians to get in some of their last summer activities.
