If you’re in the mood for live music, local band OK Charlie will be playing at Irish Times this Wednesday evening!
As described, they bring the best of both the modern and retro sounds—producing songs that fill dance floors, excite crowds and leave everyone feeling good.

Free Outdoor Movie
Don’t miss another edition of Esquimalt Parks and Recreation’s Summer Outdoor Movie series!
This week’s screening will feature Enchanted, where a young girl is cast from her life in an animated world to our modern-day reality where there’s supposedly no ‘true love.’ Here she makes new friends and embarks on a life-altering journey.
Bring a chair, some blankets and some snacks, and get comfy! Country Crepes will be on site as well.

Victoria Fringe Festival
This year marks the 39th annual Victoria Fringe Festival, which hit the city on Wednesday, August 20th and runs until Sunday, August 31st.
The Fringe always brings a burst of creative energy to the city’s atmosphere, and this year is no exception. There will be everything from dance and comedy to drama, spoken word and site-specific shows.
Some of Wednesday’s highlights include Kin, Hi I’m Phoenix HellFire, Beth & Josie EXPOSED, Candy Roberts is LARRY and more!
All tickets must be purchased in advance, either online or in person at the Intrepid Theatre box office. There’s also a one-time payment of $5 for your festival membership button, which is required to see shows.

Drag Bingo at Vicious Poodle
The Vicious Poodle is well known across the city and is said to host some of the most interactive and enjoyable gay bar experiences!
They have plenty of events throughout the week, including their loved Drag Bingo taking place every Wednesday.
