Free Outdoor Movie
Back by popular demand, Esquimalt Parks and Recreation has launched their Summer Outdoor Movie series again!
This week’s screening will feature Encanto, which is a charming film that focuses on the Madrigals. They’re an extraordinary family, and the magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal every child except one, Mirabel.
Bring a chair, some blankets and some snacks, and get comfy! Country Crepes will be on site as well.

Trivia at Spinnakers
Dust of the ol’ thinking cap and head down to Spinnakers Brewpub for some Sixty Watt Trivia!
You can have a team of up to eight people, and teams of three or fewer will receive a bonus point each round.
Spinnakers takes reservations, so you can book your table! Trivia is free to play and free to win.

Oaklands Sunset Market
The community of Oak Bay is thrilled to invite everyone back for another year of Oaklands Sunset Market!
It’s set to occur every Wednesday night at the Oaklands Community Centre until August 27th, where you’ll find over 50 local food and artisan vendors, live music and more.
There are also 8 diverse selections of food trucks available, including Churros and Mor, Greek n Go, Hazel’s Ice Cream and others!
There’s no better way to spend a summer evening.

Tasting at Church and State Wines
Church and State is Vancouver Island’s largest winery, and is a must-see for locals and visitors alike.

Hike Mount Work Summit Trail
Described as a moderately challenging route, Mount Work Summit Trail is a 5.6 kilometre out-and-back trail near South Saanich.
The trail is popular, so it’s well-maintained, although it’s known to intersect with some unmarked mountain biking trails.
Dogs are allowed but have to be leashed.
