Happy Tuesday, Victoria—it’s looking like it’ll be a cloudy one!

Although it may be overcast, there’s certainly still plenty of fun to be had around the city. Wander a used bookstore, sing your heart out at karaoke and much more.

Plus, it wouldn’t be a Tuesday list without a bit of trivia! Head down to Maude Hunter’s Pub with some pals and treat yourself to a beverage or two while you play!

Maude’s Trivia Night

Widely popular and always worth the trip, Maude’s returns for another Tuesday of epic trivia!

Bring your team and get ready to crank out some wild facts, play along to win prizes, and treat yourself to some of Maude’s delicious beer-battered fries and beer on tap.

Trivia starts at 8 p.m. but make sure to come early — especially if you have a larger table, otherwise you’ll have to come back next week!

No fee to play.

Kennel Club Karaoke at Vicious Poodle

The Vicious Poodle is well known across the city and is said to host some of the most interactive and enjoyable gay bar experiences!

They have plenty of events throughout the week, including the hot Kennel Club Karaoke taking place every Tuesday, hosted by Henrietta Dubét.

Grab your pals and make sure you grab a table as soon as you can and put your songs into the karaoke rotation—spots fill up fast!

Small Gods Brewing

Have you been to the literary themed brewery in Sidney?

If not and you’re up for a wee drive, try their recently highlighted The Girl From Everywhere, a tropical sour!

It’s promised to transport you to pristine tropical coastlines where pineapple, orange, guava and mango come together in harmony.

Axe and Grind

Need to let off some steam or are just looking for something fun and different?

Axe and Grind is where you’re actually encouraged to throw things and put a little aggression into it, so you can have fun and release the tensions from a difficult day.

Staff are there to guide you through technique and perhaps teach you a trickshot or two as well!

Wander Through Bastion Books

Tucked in the elbow of Bastion Square, Commercial Alley is home to one of Victoria’s few remaining used bookstores and is an absolute treasure to experience.

They stock both vintage and contemporary books across a wide variety of genres. There are comfy chairs and a children’s nook for those with time to linger.
