Don’t miss your chance to catch Sisiyutł & The Balance Between Dark & Light: A Kwakwaka’wakw Cabaret.
As described, this cabaret is a creative, unique and wild live performance, where Alex Taylor-McCallum hopes to highlight urban Indigenous Kwakwaka’wakw artists, storytellers, younger up and coming artists.
Performances will feature Krystal Cook, Ne’nagwas Naomi Triebwasser, Zero Whonnock and Killed Instantly, PINDN and the Nation of Creation
Entry is by donation, and there’s limited capacity, so make sure you come early!

Stand-Up Comedy at The Mint
Join the crew at The Mint for a night of laughs!
Headlining this Friday will be Faris Hytiaa, a Toronto-born and Alberta-raised individual who brings a unique mix of storytelling and observational humour to the stage.

Fridays at the Station
The Victoria Beer Society is once again hosting their popular Fridays at the Station event in Langford!
Ring in the weekend at The Langford Station by enjoying live music, a selection of delicious food trucks, browsing local businesses and artist studios, and of course flights of delicious BC craft beer.
The Victoria Beer Society’s Beer Truck will be on site serving cold sleeves and flights of craft beer every Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This week will feature Luke Lampard and Simon Prittie!

BONUS: Snowbirds in Nanaimo
If you find yourself in Nanaimo on Friday, the Snowbirds are returning for another air show!
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are back, and they’ll be giving viewers a jaw-dropping show of aerial magic over Nanaimo’s Harbour.
The nine jets will twist, roll and loop in perfect harmony, all to a set soundtrack! Head down to Maffeo Sutton Park for an epic view.
