After a week of blazing heat, things will be cooling down in Victoria over the weekend, but not too much.
According to the latest Environment Canada forecast, the weekend will be cloudy, yet warm, with next week continuing that trend.
On Friday, July 18th, the forecast calls for a high of 21°C with increasing cloudiness throughout the day. A light breeze of around 30 km/h will be felt throughout Victoria, but this wind will be more pronounced closer to the water.
Overnight will remain cloudy and breezy, with a low of 14°C
Saturday and Sunday’s forecasts are remarkably similar, with Environment Canada calling for highs of 20°C with a mix of sun and cloud. The wind will be between 20 and 40 km/h throughout the day. Overnight lows this weekend will be around 14°C.
To begin next week, Monday’s forecast will see the clouds dissipate and the high increase to a projected 23°C.
Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, clouds are expected to return to the city. Environment Canada is forecasting the highs to be between 21°C and 24°C, with overnight lows during the week hanging down around 13°C.

For some, this reprieve from the sun will be welcomed, but for others, the sun will be sorrowfully missed.
Either way, it will be a beautiful weekend in Victoria!
