Victoria’s weather expected to be hot and humid throughout this week

Following a hot and sunny weekend, Victoria can look forward to another week of heat, but with the addition of humidity and some potential for rain.

According to Environment Canada’s most recent weather forecast, Monday should be sunny all day, with clear skies through the evening. The projected high is forecast to be 24°C and the overnight low will drop down to around 14°C.

On Tuesday, July 8th, some clouds will be rolling in sometime in the morning. The high will be getting up to 24°C once again, whereas last week, Environment Canada’s forecast was calling for Tuesday’s high to be up around 27°C.

Overnight on Tuesday evening, showers may take place in the Capital Region, as the forecast calls for a 60% chance of showers.

Those overnight showers are expected to then persist through most of the day on Wednesday, with the high dipping down to around 20°C. The overnight low is predicted to be 13°C and the rain should clear by Thursday.

Though the rain is expected to clear, the clouds will be sticking around on Thursday and the high is only supposed to reach around 21°C.

From Friday through the weekend, the clouds should clear away for sunny skies and Environment Canada predicts the high will be between 24°C and 25°C.
