Raise funds through food, beer and music!
The Drake Eatery has announced the return of their 11th Thirsty Chef festival, which blends the essence of summer fun and meaningful impacts on the community.
Join the crew and fellow beer lovers on Saturday, July 26th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the heart of downtown, at Market Square.
This outdoor tasting event brings together some of Victoria’s most talented chefs, along with a variety of independent craft breweries across BC.
Attendees can anticipate creative bites and pours that match the boldness of each culinary creation.
Delectable bites will be served from chefs from restaurants such as My Thai Cafe, RabbitRabbit, The Drake Eatery, The Courtenay Room and more.
Available beverages will arrive from places including Category 12, Small Gods Brewing, Humblebee Meadery, Backcountry, Mile Zero, Herald Street Brew Works and many others.
Additionally, there will be an abundance of live music from local artists to round out the afternoon, adding the celebratory ambience!
Musicians include Peter McMaster, CourtLand, PONCHO and Chase Varnes.
Since Thirsty Chef’s inception, they have served as a fundraising platform for important community causes, and this year is no exception.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the Victoria Cool Aid Society—an organization dedicated to providing valuable services to marginalized individuals.
Tickets for the festival are $50 and can be purchased at The Drake Eatery or online via Eventbrite.
Each ticket includes all of the food and a commemorative beer glass!
