Summer Lavender Festival
Head out to Bilston Creek Farm and enjoy their lush lavender fields during their Summer Lavender Festival.
It kicked off on Sunday, July 27th and runs until Tuesday, July 29th, featuring local makers, live music, product demonstrations, relaxing by the apple trees and more.
Admission is $10.

Small Gods Brewing
Have you been to the literary themed brewery in Sidney?
If not and you’re up for a wee drive, try their recently highlighted Growing Pains, made in collaboration with The Courtney Room!
It uses Field 5 Farms’ Peninsula-grown malt and Myrtle Meadows hops from Pemberton. As described, it contains a classic west coast vibe and modern techniques to bring balanced pine, citrus, and biscuity notes—a testament to BC’s maturing craft agriculture.

Kennel Club Karaoke at Vicious Poodle
The Vicious Poodle is well known across the city and is said to host some of the most interactive and enjoyable gay bar experiences!
