If you’re looking to celebrate local artists with the community, we’ve got the event for you!
On Saturday, July 26th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. the Make Good Party is back and will take over Ship Point, located in front of HAVN Spa.
Guests will be greeted by the beats from live DJ’s and have access to a dance floor, a Maker’s Market curated by Migration Boutique, food trucks, a bar serving local beverages and games!
The Migration Boutique, owned by Creative Director of the Make Good Party, Sara Patterson, is celebrating 21 years of operation!
In a media release, Patterson said that the Make Good Party launched in 2021, as so many small businesses were suffering due to the pandemic, as well as the aftermath of the shutdowns.
Migration Boutique was one of the businesses that were severely impacted by the pandemic, and even had to close their brick and mortar store.
She was all too familiar with the weight other business owners were feeling, which is why the Make Good Party was created!
“I wanted to bring together our local community of Artists, Makers, Music and Food and raise awareness about supporting these talented individuals as they form the backbone of our community,” said Patterson.
This year, Patterson was thrilled to announce that she just reopened Migration Boutique at 1322 Government Street.
The Make Good Party is a free event and is suitable for all ages! This event is also part of a Summer Series, with a multitude of fun events happening throughout the summer and into the fall.
