Downtown Victoria ramen shop to close while hinting new concept will come soon

One of downtown Victoria’s most celebrated ramen shops, Ghost Ramen, has announced that they will be closing at the end of the month.

The announcement came out around noon on Thursday, June 12th via Ghost Ramen’s Instagram account.

“After an incredible run, Ghost Ramen will be wrapping up service at the end of June—and we want to celebrate every spicy, slurpy moment with you,” said Ghost Ramen in their post.

“Thank you for all the love, laughs, and late-night bowls. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

However, the cozy space Ghost Ramen has occupied for the last four years will not sit vacant for too long, as the business says a new concept is in the works.

“There’s something very exciting coming to the Ghost space, so keep those eyes (and appetites) open,” the business wrote.

As Ghost Ramen will be closing at the end of the month, the restaurant encourages Victoria to come in and grab a bowl before it’s too late.

Additionally, they noted that people could take a road trip to visit Nikkei Ramen in Courtenay, where they have been sourcing their noodles since the beginning.

“This isn’t goodbye—it’s see you later,” they concluded.

“We’re exploring ways to bring Ghost Ramen closer to you, so stay tuned to get your fix.”

The eatery will be officially closed at the end of June.
