Watch ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’
In honour of Ocean Week Victoria, The Vic Theatre is screening David Attenborough’s most recent film, Ocean.
In his famous and beloved style, he shows us the ocean’s many wonders, its challenges and possibilities for recovery.

The Sooke Night Market
The Sooke Night Market will be officially returning for its 12th season this Thursday, located at the Sooke Region Museum grounds!
It will take place every Thursday evening until August 28th, and features local food growers, creative makers, producers and more.
Eat, enjoy live performances, shop local and connect with loved ones!

Story Circle: Storytelling Open Mic
Dave Morris will be hosting a Story Circle event at Caffe Fantastico, and everyone is encouraged to share their stories!
This storytelling open mic will take place the first Thursday of every month, and gives attendees the chance to share a tale or listen to others share.
Each performer is given five minutes to share, and the stories can be about any topic (fiction or nonfiction) as long as they are some-what clean.
There are 10 open mic slots available, followed by a feature storyteller. Sign-up opens at 6:30 p.m.
Entry cost is on a sliding scale between $5 to $15, but no one will be turned away because of money.

Esquimalt Farmers Market
Enjoy the outdoor Esquimalt Farmers Market, which has officially returned for its 11th season, and will be running until September.
You’ll find a huge selection of featured farm-fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, jewelry, clothing and much more!
Plus, they’ll have rotating weekly food trucks and nightly musical performances.

80s Dance Party at The Coda
Join Kai Arts and Friends at The Coda this Thursday for an epic evening of upbeat 80s dance, pop and rock classics.
The evening will feature some of Victoria’s best young musicians, including Lily Gyles Thomas on vocals, Josh Warren on bass, Ava Creed playing drums and Alex Gwillim on guitar, and Kai Aris on synthesizer.
Tickets are $20 for general admission.
