West Shore RCMP have laid multiple charges against 41-year-old Richard Kubik regarding two recent investigations.
Police say that on April 18th, Kubik was arrested following a call for officers to respond to a break and enter at a construction site near the 2100 block of Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford.
Then, on April 25th, West Shore RCMP located a Ford F-250 truck, which had been reported stolen out of Duncan.
Police say they located Kubik, who was allegedly in possession of the stolen vehicle, and arrested him.
Following an investigation into these two alleged crimes, Kubik has been charged with break and enter, disguise with intent, possession of break-in instruments, possession of stolen property over $5000 and failure to comply with a release order.
As of this publication, West Shore RCMP says that Kubik has remanded into custody until his next court date.
Both of the above noted matters are before the courts, according to police.
