VicPD are seeking witnesses as they investigate an assault with a weapon that occurred Thursday evening in the 900-block of Quadra Street.
Around 6:45 p.m. on May 1st, VicPD say they responded to reports of a stabbing at Pioneer Square.
Upon arrival, they found the victim, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect is described as a bald man in his 40s, standing around 5’5” tall, wearing an open brown long-sleeved sweater with no shirt underneath, and loose dark navy pants.
According to police, this attack is believed to be random, and they have determined that the victim and suspect were not known to each other.
