VicPD are asking for the public’s help following a serious assault with a weapon near Quadra Street and Hillside Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, just before 5:30 p.m. on May 25th, officers were called to assist paramedics after a person was found bleeding in an alleyway in the 2600-block of Quadra Street.
The victim was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.
Investigators believe the assault took place near the busy intersection of Quadra and Hillside and are asking for dashcam footage from anyone who was driving in the area between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. that day.
Police are also looking for any relevant cell phone video or security camera footage from homes or businesses nearby.
