There will be over 40,000 cruise ship passengers arriving in Victoria this week

It’s the last week of May, Victoria—can you believe it?

From Monday, May 26th to Sunday, June 1st, there will be 13 cruise ships arriving at Ogden Point, with a total of 40,396 passengers.

To start us off, Carnival Spirit will arrive on Monday at 8 p.m. with 2,124 people. We won’t see another ship until Wednesday, which brings us the Carnival Luminosa at 8 p.m. with 2,260 people.

Thursday is one of Victoria’s busiest days for ships, with the Norwegian Joy scheduled to arrive at 8:30 a.m. (revised from 9 a.m.) carrying 3,883 passengers.

Two more will follow, including our largest ship this week, the Anthem of the Seas at 11:59 a.m. with a whopping 4,919 eager visitors; and then Celebrity Edge with 2,918 people at 5:30 p.m.

The cruise ships to follow are as such:

  • Friday, May 30th at 8 p.m.: Norwegian Bliss with 4,250 passengers
  • Friday, May 30th at 8 p.m.: Eurodam with 2,104 passengers
  • Friday, May 30th at 9 p.m.: Royal Princess with 3,560 passengers
  • Saturday, May 31st at 7 p.m.: Discovery Princess with 3,660 passengers
  • Saturday, May 31st at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Encore with 3,998 passengers
  • Saturday, May 31st at 8 p.m.: Westerdam with 1,840 passengers
  • Sunday, June 1st at 6 a.m.: Seven Seas Mariner with 700 passengers
  • Sunday, June 1st at 5 p.m.: Quantum of the Seas with 4,180 passengers
