After finding success with Victoria audiences, Canadian alternative-rock band The Beaches have announced they will be performing at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on their next North American Tour.
The tour has 47 dates, spanning from June 6th to November 15th. They will be playing at the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre on Friday, October 24th to kick off the Canadian leg of the tour.
The Beaches have risen to fame throughout Canada and the rest of the world largely because of the mainstream success of their last full-length record, Blame My Ex (2023).
The album featured many singles which gained traction in the charts, but the standout single was definitely “Blame Brett,” which reached number one on the Canadian Billboard charts.
“Blame Brett” was written about The Beaches lead vocalist, Jordan Miller’s relationship with Brett Emmons, who is the frontman for another prominent Canadian rock band, The Glorious Sons.
Now, The Beaches are touring their forthcoming third studio album, No Hard Feelings, which will be released on August 29th.
Thus far, the band has released four singles from No Hard Feelings, “Did I Say Too Much,” “Last Girls At The Party,” “Jocelyn” and “Takes One To Know One.”
The last couple times The Beaches have played in Victoria, they performed on festival stages, such as Rifflandia in 2024 and Philips Backyard in 2022.
Prior to that, the band had not played in Victoria since touring their debut album Late Show in 2019.
