Clear the runway, because Victoria’s most glamorous celebration for dogs is back with a brand new date!
The Big Gay Dog Walk will now take place on Sunday, June 1st at 3:30 p.m. in Banfield Park, Vic West, bringing together pooches and their proud humans for an afternoon of fun and flair.
Expect crowd favourites like the ever-popular dog costume contest and a dog trick competition, plus a scenic stroll along the picturesque Gorge Waterway.
In addition to adorable pups on parade, the event will feature a curated selection of pet vendors, local food trucks serving up tasty treats, and a heartfelt memorial area dedicated to honouring pets who have passed on.

Organizers are encouraging attendees to walk, bike, or take transit to the event, as parking at the park is limited.
Whether you’re a pet parent or just love celebrating community and canines, this is one pride party you won’t want to miss.
The Big Gay Dog Walk is a part of Victoria Pride Society’s lineup of wonderful Pride events, with the main Pride Week taking place from July 1st to July 6th.
