If you haven’t started your weekend already, it’s officially time to partake in a variety of fun activities to celebrate May long weekend.
Pick between a bunch of fun performances such as an improv game show, an afro-soul evening at The Coda, dinner and drag and more!
Plus, Luxton Spring Fair will be rolling into its second day, so head down for some fun rides and carnival snacks!

A Journey Under the Stars
The Coda welcomes A Journey Under the Stars, presenting audiences with an afro-soul/jazz-fusion experience!
There will be a wonderful lineup of emerging local musicians, prepped and ready to celebrate the diverse musical landscape of the city.
Tickets are $25 for regular admission and $30 at the door.

Luxton Spring Fair
Gather the family and start your Victoria Day long weekend celebrations early at the popular Luxton Spring Fair out in Langford.
This year’s fair officially kicked off Thursday, May 15th and runs until Sunday, May 18th with an array of unique activities and entertainment.
Four days of non-stop May long weekend family-fun involve carnival rides, games, vendors, antique farm equipment, blacksmiths, heritage museum displays and more!
Regular price carnival ride wristbands are $50 per day and can be purchased here.

Dinner & Drag
Friends of Dorothy is excited to host another Dinner & Drag happening this Friday!
It features a delicious three-course meal and fabulous local drag performers, hosted by the fabulous Queen Mina Mercury, for the ultimate dining experience.

OK, DOPE Game Show
OK, DOPE will be presenting their event, Game Show: An Improv Game Show Show this Friday!
Inspired by Dropout TVs popular game show formats, this performance will combine the fun of improv while incorporating the competitiveness of a game show.
Hosted by Bo Jagger Essery, watch as three comedians go head-to-head as their improv skills are put to the test.

Lunch time Concert in Market Square
Celebrate local talent!
Market Square has partnered with the Greater Victoria Festival Society to offer lunch time concerts from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the lower courtyard every Friday in April and May.
They’re free to attend, so bring the whole family!
