Did you catch the game this weekend, Victoria?
On Monday, May 19th, the BC Lions went up against the Calgary Stampeders in a preseason opener at Starlight Stadium in Langford!
Despite the rainy weather, the sold-out crowd of 6,000 showed their spirit by rocking orange and black as well as some creative costumes.
This game marked the second time in two years that the Lions have brought a game to the island, and the local support reiterated Victoria’s love of the sport.
Although the Lions got off to a fast start, they ultimately lost the game 26-16.
