The concerts will feature an impressive lineup, including young fiddlers from the Old-Time Danceband and the BC Fiddle Orchestra (BCFO), joined by alumni spanning 31 years of BCFO history.
Adding to the excitement, the renowned Folkestra! and the ever-popular Joy of Life Choir will take the stage, backed by the Joy of Life House Band—featuring Rick May (Bass), Tyler Lieb (Pedal Steel/Guitar), Danuel Tate (Organ/Piano), and Geoff Hicks (Drums).
This year’s special guest is Leeroy Stagger, an acclaimed singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt lyrics and a sound that blends rock, folk, and Americana. With over two decades of experience, multiple albums, and international tours, Stagger’s storytelling and musicality promise to bring something special to the concerts.
“This year’s concert will be a very special occasion as we welcome Leeroy Stagger for the first time,” says Daniel Lapp.
“The youth fiddlers are launching their new album Tumbleweed Rag, and the Joy of Life Choir has stellar new songs to debut. We cherish this annual spring concert, celebrating the gift of being alive through music and community.”
