Victoria Royal vs. Prince George Cougars
Similar to the Canada versus USA game, a divisional rivalry is heating up in the WHL this weekend, and you won’t want to miss it.
The Victoria Royals, who sit atop the BC Division, will face off against the second-place Prince George Cougars, with just four points separating the two teams. The two teams will play back to back games at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre this weekend.
Continuing their partnership with the Moose Hide Campaign, the Victoria Royals will recognize and celebrate the vast Indigenous community across Vancouver Island while sharing stories of their ongoing support for local Indigenous communities at Friday’s game.
In addition to their partnership with the Moose Hide Campaign, the team has also partnered with the Salish Storm and will host their players at the game.

Island Vintage Fair
The Vintage Fair & Entertainment is back at the Mary Winspear Centre for a two-day event celebrating all things retro, rockabilly, and nostalgic.
Taking place Friday, February 21st, and Saturday, February 22nd, the fair will feature live entertainment, over 80 vendors, food trucks, and even vintage cars on display.
The weekend kicks off with Sip n Shop on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., where shoppers can browse multiple vendors while enjoying local brews from Beacon Brewing and a live performance by The Cavaleros—a trio known for their electrifying mix of instrumental rockabilly, surf, and swing. Admission is $10.
On Saturday, the fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an exciting lineup of entertainment.

Ian Maksin – “Beyond Neoclassical”
World-renowned cellist, composer, and multilingual vocalist Ian Maksin brings his signature fusion of global sounds to Victoria.

Jared Nathan brings his West Coast Comedy Tour to Victoria this weekend.

Pacific Opera: The Little Prince

Ross Bay Cemetery Guided Tour
Led by BCBHAS, this Ross Bay Cemetery Guided tour takes attendees to over 50 Black Pioneer and/or their descendants’ graves.
As described, participants will learn how and why their lives were influential in the migration of Blacks to the British Colony.
Cost is $5 for the general public and $2 for BCBHAS members. Arrive by 1:45 p.m. to purchase your ticket.
