Oak Bay Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is alleged to have attempted to commit bank fraud with a fake passport.
According to police, the suspect did not limit his attempts at fraud to just Oak Bay, but is believed to have tried this scheme in several bank locations within the Capital Regional District.
Police have not shared the location of the Oak Bay bank he is alleged to have attempted to defraud.
Anyone who recognizes this suspect and wants to share his name anonymously can call Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
