Oh, Canada! Sweet, sweet revenge!
Team Canada has taken down the United States in what’s been the most talked-about event of the past two weeks.
The Canada-US men’s hockey rivalry is back in full force, just as political tensions between the two countries heat up.
The highly anticipated showdown in Boston marked the biggest men’s hockey clash between these rivals since the 2010 Olympics.
This rematch came just five days after the US handed Canada a 3-1 loss in round-robin play—a game that saw three fights break out within the first nine seconds.
And in dramatic fashion, the game went into overtime, with Connor McDavid scoring the winning goal to crown Team Canada the 4 Nations champions with a 3-2 victory win!

On their way to the championship, Canada took down Sweden and Finland, while the US secured a spot in the final despite a loss to Sweden on Monday, having already clinched their place.
This tournament replaced the NHL All-Star Game this year, setting the stage for next year’s Winter Olympics in Milan—where NHL players will return to Olympic action for the first time since 2014.
