Mystery lovers and improv enthusiasts, this is for you!
After a sold-out run last November, the Paper Street Theatre Co. will be returning to the iconic Craigdarroch Castle with their improvised show, Murder on Paper Street.
There will be a total of eight performances, running from Thursday, March 13th to Saturday, March 22nd.
Inspired by acclaimed mystery novelist Agatha Christie, the story follows a vintage cast of cliché characters as a body turns up at Craigdarroch Castle. For better or worse, it’s up to them to figure out who did it, who it was done and who could be next.
Murder on Paper Street is a fully improvised mystery and will hold you enthralled and entertained up until the final reveal.
“The Paper Street Theatre Co. has proven to be a hit with Craigdarroch Castle theatre audiences and we are excited to welcome back their unique brand of improvised theatre,” said John Hughes, Executive Director of Craigdarroch Castle.
“We anticipate another sold-out run for Murder on Paper Street this March.”

For those who are unfamiliar, The Paper Street Theatre Co. has won multiple awards, and has been featured at festivals around the world.
“Under the direction of improviser and storyteller Dave Morris, The Paper Street Theatre Co. creates improvisation that feels like theatre,” a media release reads.
“By studying great playwrights, and theatrical styles then performing them with no script, their ensemble sets out to change what people often perceive improvisation to be.”
Murder on Paper Street will require audience members to follow them throughout the castle during the performance, including the 87 stairs.
Tickets are $32 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
