VicPD are investigating after an estimated $80,000 worth of broadcast equipment was stolen from Bell Media’s Esquimalt offices late last month.

Surveillance footage captured two suspects at the company’s Park Place location at approximately 2:40 a.m. on January 30th.

One individual is described as a female wearing a black-and-yellow coat, black pants, and yellow, orange, and black Nike shoes. The second suspect is a male dressed in a black balaclava, black tuque, a New York Knicks hoodie, black pants, and white runners.

Bell Media, which had recently relocated from its downtown Victoria location on Broad Street to Esquimalt, declined to comment on the incident, citing the ongoing investigation.

It remains unclear whether the theft caused any disruptions to operations.

Victoria Buzz has reached out to VicPD for a statement regarding the investigation.
