Victoria Royals vs. Everett Silvertips
The Victoria Royals are set to host a special mid-day game on Monday, February 17th, in celebration of Family Day, and this time, the kids are in charge! Young fans aged 14 and under will have the opportunity to step into game-day roles, getting a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a WHL game.
The fun doesn’t stop there—after the final buzzer, kids can hit the ice for a post-game skate with Royals players (skate rental not available). The afternoon will also feature live entertainment, a DJ, and plenty of family-friendly fun, making it a must-attend event for hockey-loving families.

Malahat SkyWalk
Kicking off on Valentine’s Day, this award-winning attraction is offering special food selections, exciting activities, and thrilling outdoor adventures to celebrate Family Day weekend!
Take a stroll through the treetops on the elevated TreeWalk and the stunning west coast views from the awe-inspiring Spiral Tower.
From February 14th to 17th, guests can enjoy this attraction for 50% off the cost of admission.

Sidney Museum: LEGO Family Day Weekend
The Sidney Museum has an exciting lineup of LEGO themed activities designed for families and kids of every age all weekend long!
Visit the Sidney Museum to see hundreds of LEGO models and pick up your Beacon Avenue Scavenger Hunt map.
Businesses and organizations from all over town will have LEGO sets on display in their windows and storefronts. Find them all and be entered in a draw to win LEGO prizes!
Admission to the museum is by donation.

Saanich Family Arts Festival
Don’t miss out on the Saanich Family Arts Festival, filled with events that celebrate imagination, creativity and discovery!
There will be a wide variety of live performances and activities such as tinfoil sculpture making with beloved local artist Tanya Bub, creating a mini quilt design, developing your own guide to monsters and more.
Performances include the Veselka Dancers, Melody Moonshaker, Lekwungen Traditional Dancers and others.

Carousel Rides: Butchart Gardens
To celebrate Family Day, Butchart Gardens is offering free carousel rides!
Spend quality time roaming amongst the impressive gardens and stop by the carousel anytime from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for your free ride.
Admission costs for the gardens change seasonally, but right now general admission is $31.65 for adults, $15.83 for youth (ages 13 to 17-years-old), and $3 for children (ages 5 to 12-years-old).

PlayZone Play Day
Langford’s City Centre Park is offering free access to the Play Zone all day long!
The Play Zone is an indoor gold-mine themed play structure, and is perfect for your youngins to play on while you relax in the Parent Section and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The Toddler Zone is great for kids under three-years-old, so there’s something for every age group!

Capital Bike Cycle Circuit: Family Day
If you’re looking for something fun and exciting to do with the family, check out the Capital Bike Cycle Circuit and attempt their obstacle course!
It’s designed for riders of all ages, and all you have to do is bring your own bike, helmet and any additional safety gear you need.
It’s located at the Lacrosse Box right beside the Esquimalt Recreation Centre and there’s no cost required to participate.

Pacific Opera: Family Day Open House
Pacific Opera and the Victoria Symphony invites everyone to discover the magic of the Royal Theatre this Family Day for their open house!
This event is meant to immerse attendees in the world of opera and symphony with hands-on activity stations, such as sets, costumes, props and more.
You’ll get the opportunity to make your own crown, interact with giant bird puppets or try out a musical instrument!
There will also be pop-up performances and the chance to learn more about Pacific Opera’s upcoming retelling of The Little Prince.
This event is free to attend, but RSVPs are encouraged to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day for everyone.

Family Day Jamboree
Blossoming at the Farm Society invites everyone to check out their 3rd annual Family Day Jamboree event!
They have a full day of exciting activities planned, including animal visits, disc golf and hot lunch served at the barn.
It’s $25 per family or $15 per person, and you can register by emailing info@blossomingatthefarm.ca.
The proceeds go towards supporting the wide variety of programs offered by the Blossoming at the Farm Society.

Family Fun House
This Family Day Monday, Breaking Waves Entertainment and So Much Fun Productions are turning up the bass and welcoming families to an all-ages electronic music experience!
This event is focused on education, creativity, and community! Whether you’re a tiny dancer, a future DJ, or just here for the vibes, this is a space to express yourself, learn, and connect through music and movement.
Activities offered throughout the day include dance workshops, face painting, silent disco, snacks and a fantastic lineup of featured performers!
Admission is by donation, and the suggested amount is $5 per person or $20 per family. All of the proceeds go to charity.
