If you love to walk, apparently Victoria is the place to be.
Skyscanner, a search aggregator and travel agency based in Edinburgh, Scotland, has shared their recent research about some of the top walkable cities across the globe, and Victoria has made the list!
“City breaks are the best. But what’s not the best is having to grab a taxi or jump on public transport every time you want to see something new,” said the company.
“You want a city that is walkable and easy to navigate. Where you can stroll from sight to sight without a care in the world.”
To achieve their results, they analysed 14 different factors, including walking distances, air quality and safety.

In the release, they describe Victoria as one of Canada’s most picturesque cities, with our Victorian architecture and easily navigable streets.
Plus, the ‘top tip’ section of the article highlights us having 457 walking trails, which adds another draw for locals and visitors alike.
