Get ready for a cozy start to 2025!
Starbucks is bringing its Winter Menu to stores across Canada on Friday, January 3rd, featuring a host of new items and a few familiar favourites to warm you up during the chilly months ahead.
From brand-new espresso beverages to Canadian-exclusive breakfast items, you might just find your new Starbucks go-to!
One of the new additions includes a bold espresso drink called The Cortado—combining three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso with steamed whole milk.

A media release from Starbucks describes it to have a perfectly balanced rich and creamy texture.
If you’re a strictly non-dairy customer (we see you), they’re launching the Brown Sugar Oat Cortado with the same espresso but with steamed oat milk and a dash of cinnamon.
As mentioned, it’s not just new coffee gracing their menus, there are two new breakfast items to check out as well.
Leaning into the cheeky debate of pancakes vs. waffles, Starbucks will be offering Maple Mini Pancakes and Belgian Liège Waffles.
A recent survey by Starbucks Canada revealed that pancakes reign supreme, with 60% of Canadians claiming them as their favourite.
However, BC residents are a little different—56% say they prefer waffles, while only 44% are all about the pancakes. What’s your preference, Victoria?
In addition to the new items, Starbucks is also welcoming back their pistachio beverages, including the Pistachio Latte and the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew.
Stay cozy and caffeinated this January!
