VicPD arrested a man early last week after he was caught throwing rocks at the front doors of the VicPD headquarters, damaging two glass windows.
According to a statement provided to Victoria Buzz, the incident occurred on January 15th, just after 6 a.m., at the department’s headquarters located at 850 Caledonia Avenue.
Officers observed the man in the act and took him into custody. While the suspect is known to police, no charges have been laid at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
The man was released with conditions to appear in court at a later date. VicPD declined to comment on the man’s motives for the act.
