Here’s why 160 people will bungy jump naked in Nanaimo this March

Share

Brave jumpers are getting ready to bare it all for a good cause!

Taking place on Saturday, March 1st, and Sunday, March 2nd, the beloved Naked Bungy event raises funds to support life-saving mental health programs through Mental Health Recovery Partners South Island (MHRP SI).

While this particular approach may seem outrageous to some, it’s bringing much-needed awareness to mental health and its impacts on so many lives.

Mental health is no laughing matter, but this quirky event proves you can tackle serious issues while having a little cheeky fun—no pun intended 😉.

Every dollar raised goes directly to programs that provide essential support to those struggling with mental health challenges on Vancouver Island.

Each jumper paid a $75 registration fee, and can raise additional funds to win extra prizes. If $200 is raised, their registration fee is waived, and if $600 is raised, then they get a free Primal Swing voucher.

If this sounds like something you’d be game for, there are still spots left! They anticipate a sell-out by the end of January, so don’t wait too long and register now.

Do you have a friend jumping? Spectators are welcome by donation (minimum $15),  and the proceeds from this also go directly to MHRP’s programs!

Since its daring debut in 2006, Naked Bungy has raised over $500,000 for mental health initiatives across Vancouver Island.
