A fatal collision at the intersection of Quadra Street and Tattersall Drive claimed the life of a driver.
Saanich Police were called to the scene at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday night, January 3rd, after reports of a motor vehicle incident.
Upon arrival, they discovered that a single vehicle had collided with a construction vehicle on the east side of the intersection, which is currently closed to traffic.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was unresponsive.
Despite the efforts of police officers, Saanich Fire crews, and paramedics, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that the driver’s next of kin have been notified.
The incident remains under investigation.
