The Victoria Royals are about to play their final home game before the holidays, and we can’t think of a better send off than a toy drive for a great cause!
This Friday, December 13th, the Victoria Royals will take on division rivals the Vancouver Giants for the first time this season at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre for their ‘Hockey Holidays’ game.
In partnership with Proline Management, the Royals will also be hosting a toy drive at the rink this same evening—and all fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to Gate 1 in support of the CFAX Santa’s Anonymous Toy Drive.

Not only will there be a toy drive, but there will be plenty of festive activities happening at the rink, including Santa photos and a holiday market with local vendors.
While the Royals are coming off back-to-back losses over Kelowna Rockets, the team currently sits 5th in the Western Conference and sit in 2nd in the BC division.
The Giants are currently sitting 3rd in the BC division, five points back of the Royals but have two games on hand.
The Victoria Royals will return back home to SOFMC after the holiday break on Friday, December 27th and will also play on Saturday, December 28th for a double-header versus the visiting Prince George Cougars.
Tickets for this Friday’s Hockey Holidays game, featuring the festive toy drive, are still available—puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
