If you’re looking for something completely holiday unrelated, Hecklers Bar & Grill will be hosting their Tuesday night trivia!

Christmas Eve Pageant

Join the James Bay United Church for their Christmas Eve gathering!

With a wonderful cast of characters and beloved songs, they retell the sacred story of Christmas Eve.

This event is open to all ages and is free to attend.

Festival of Trees Victoria

The Festival of Trees has been a beloved holiday tradition on Vancouver Island for over 30 years, celebrating community support for BC Children’s Hospital with beautifully decorated trees.

This year’s event will feature up to 100 sponsored trees, and they’ll remain on display from November 15th to January 5th.

The Bay Centre invites the community to enjoy the display, vote for their favorite trees, and help raise vital funds for BC’s children!

  • Where: The Bay Centre, 1150 Douglas Street
  • When: Kicked off on Friday, November 15th and runs until January 5th

Tuesday Trivia at Hecklers Bar

Head over to Hecklers Bar & Grill for a fun night of trivia!

It’s free to play, and they allow teams of up to eight people. Teams with three or less get a bonus point.

There are plenty of prizes to be won and fun to be had!

  • Where: Hecklers Bar & Grill, 123 Gorge Road East
  • When: Tuesday, December 24th from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

 16th Annual Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Showcase

The 16th annual Gingerbread Showcase opens to the public this Friday, November 22nd, promising a delightful blend of family fun, creativity, and community spirit.

Presented by Habitat for Humanity Victoria, in partnership with Peninsula Co-op, and hosted by the Hotel Grand Pacific, this beloved event is back and awaits your curious eyes!

This year’s theme is “Through a Child’s Eyes,” which is bound to bring out the best in our local bakers and give everyone a peek into the minds of the artists.

Admission to the showcase is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a donation when voting for their favorite gingerbread house.

All proceeds will go towards Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing affordable housing in the community.

  • When: Kicks off on Friday November 22nd and runs until January 5th, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
