West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation of a break and enter, which included an auto theft, that occurred on Friday, November 8th.
At around 1:45 a.m., surveillance footage captured a white 2014 Dodge 3500 truck being stolen from RKM Crane Services, located at 1492 Admirals Road in View Royal.
The footage shows a dark coloured truck with a red roof pull up to the site before an individual got out of the vehicle and walked toward the compound.
Following this, the white truck drives away from the scene, followed by the suspect vehicle.
The suspect vehicle is described as being a dark colour, older model pickup truck, with a red roof and a lighter coloured truck box.
The stolen vehicle is described as a white 4-door 2014 Dodge 3500 truck, with a BC licence plate reading “RL5548”, a flatbed deck with red tidy tank with pump.
The stolen vehicle also has an RKM Crane Services decal on driver and passenger doors, though police say those decals could now be removed.
While they investigate, West Shore RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle.
Anyone driving in the area of the theft on November 8th between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. with dash cam footage or in car video is being asked to review it in case video was captured of the suspect.
