A major traffic route is closed Tuesday afternoon as fire crews battle a structure fire in Saanich.
In a media release just after 4 p.m., Saanich Police stated they have closed the 1000 block of McKenzie Avenue to traffic in both directions.
Police are asking people to please avoid the area.
Roadblocks are in place at Quadra Street and McKenzie Avenue as well as Saanich Road and McKenzie Avenue.
