The missing man’s name is Christian, and police say they are concerned for him as he has medical needs and suffers from dementia.

He was last seen around the PKOLS area on November 23rd at around 5:30 p.m.

The Peninsula Emergency Measures Organization (PEMO) search-and-rescue team are now assisting police with the search and have deployed resources in the park area.

Saanich Police are asking homeowners south of PKOLS, along Ash Road, Shelbourne Street and Cedar Hill Road, to check their security cameras beginning on the evening of November 23rd, for footage of Christian passing their home.

Police describe Christian as a Caucasian man, standing 5’6” tall with a medium build. He has blue eyes, shaggy brown hair and a grey goatee.

At the time he went missing, Christian was wearing black winter jacket with hood, white lining, and Cleveland Browns NFL logo on front left side, blue jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap.

He was also carrying a black Reebok backpack with a purple coloured pattern.

Anyone with information on Christian’s whereabouts or security camera footage of him should contact Saanich Police at (250) 475-4321.
