Winter Small Works: Opening Reception

Don’t miss the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (AGGV)’s annual Winter Small Works Show & Sale celebrating artists local to Victoria and Vancouver Island!

Join them for the Opening Reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with artists in attendance.  Stop by for a glass of wine, browse a dynamic range of artworks at accessible price points, and help us kickstart the winter season of celebrating local artists.

These works are fabulous and they go fast—don’t miss it!

NEON MUG’D at Lucky Bar

Get ready for one of the hottest drag shows and dance parties, NEON at Lucky Bar!

Featuring dazzling performances by Decathlon, Aria Okay, Bad Shah, Bromley, Imani, Isla Van Damme, Lilith Cain, The Mexicatessen, and Wander Lost, this all-star cast is sure to light up the night.

DJ Barbie Aphelion will keep the energy high, spinning tunes all evening long, with drag sets starting at 9:30 p.m.

General admission is $20—tickets at the door will be $25, so don’t wait!

Small Gods Brewing is thrilled to host author Rayanne Haines as she launches her poetic memoir.

What Kind of Daughter considers identity and gender expectations while exploring the public perception of the space between the spaces we inhabit during periods of grieving.

She will be joined by prestigious local authors Ali Blythe and Arleen Paré.
