Theatre-goers, you’re in for something special!

Triple Threat Performing Arts Society, a youth theatre program, are thrilled to present Les Misérables School Edition, showcasing the incredible talents of local young performers.

It will run from Thursday, November 21st to Sunday, November 24th at the Dave Dunnet Community Theatre.

This adaptation is promised to be a heart-stirring showcase of passion, artistry and energy as the performers put their own power into this iconic musical.

Les Misérables is an unforgettable tale of hope, resilience and the fight for justice, all against the backdrop of revolutionary France.

It follows Jean Valjean as he’s released from years of unjust imprisonment, and finds nothing but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks parole in hopes of beginning anew, initiating a relentless pursuit by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change.

As different circumstances unfold, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves the life of the student revolutionary, who has captured the heart of Valjean’s adopted daughter.

The cast will enthrall audiences with emotion that belies their years—from soaring vocals of ‘Dream a Dream’, to the anthem ‘Do You Hear the People Sing’, attendees can expect to be enraptured.

“These remarkable youth have spent months honing their craft, pouring their hearts into every note, and now they are ready to bring this timeless story to the stage,” a media release reads.

“This is more than just a musical—it’s a celebration of dreams, determination and the indomitable human spirit.”

They invite you to an evening of breathtaking performances, unforgettable music, and the raw power of young voices united in song!

Tickets are just under $24 and can be purchased via Eventbrite
