West Shore RCMP are seeking witnesses as well as dash-cam video for a collision between a mobility scooter and a SUV.

At around 3 p.m. on Monday, October 14th, officers responded to a report that while pulling out of a retail parking lot, a grey SUV may have made contact with a mobility scooter.

The incident occurred in a parking lot in the 700 block of Goldstream Avenue—near Langford Centre shopping mall.

Police say it is alleged that after the possible contact, the driver of the mobility scooter may have struck the SUV, causing damage to the hood of the vehicle with his fist.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident should call West Shore RCMP at (250) 474-2264.

Police are also requesting those who were driving in the area near the time of the incident and have dash cameras to check between 2:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. for relevant footage.
