They’re launching a special Afternoon Tea this season, where a tea leaf reader will be present in the Lobby Lounge on Saturday, October 26th to share the art of tasseography with the lucky tea-goers.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy the hotel’s beloved Afternoon Tea service, with an array of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones and an assortment of sweet treats, with the option of having their tea leaves read.
If you weren’t already aware, tea leaf reading, also known as tasseography, is a centuries-old tradition and is often associated with fortune-telling and mystical insights.
This makes it a particularly alluring experience for the Halloween season—just what you need to get the most out of your autumn festivities.
The complimentary tea readings will be provided by Rachael Bruton Haisell, who has been providing readings for over 35 years!
She will share any insights she may pick up, offering guests a unique glimpse into what their future may hold.
