VicPD are seeking witnesses or victims of a pellet gun attack that occurred in downtown Victoria last week.
Investigators say that a man was observed discharging a pellet gun at people in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd.
The suspect left the area shortly after.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers conducted an extensive search for the suspect and were able to identify him with the available CCTV footage.
“The use of any type of firearm, whether real or replica, in a threatening manner is unacceptable,” said spokesperson Constable Terri Healy.
“We urge anyone who witnessed this event or has information to come forward. Witness or victim information will aid our work in holding those responsible for these behaviours accountable.”
Police say that victims have yet to be identified, and they’re working to process and analyze the evidence with intent of recommending charges to crown counsel.
The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody pending a future court date.
