Nanaimo RCMP seek witnesses in incident involving seriously injured woman

Nanaimo RCMP are seeking public assistance after a woman was discovered with serious injuries late Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on October 3rd, near the intersection of Victoria Road and Milton Street.

Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting her to Nanaimo General Hospital, where she remains under medical care.

At this time, police have not identified any suspects. Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., or who has dash cam footage from the vicinity, to come forward.
