As summer winds down with just under a week left, Vancouver Island’s typical mix of sun and rain continues to keep us on our toes.
If you’ve been holding off on getting your pumpkin spice latte, the wait is almost over—fall officially begins at 5:43 a.m. on Sunday Sep 22nd.
Temperatures have started to dip, and the days are getting noticeably shorter. This week, overnight lows are expected to hit 9°C, giving us a taste of the cooler weather to come.
Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 20°C. However, the back-and-forth weather pattern in the Victoria area will still bring us a few sunny days before summer officially bows out.
Expect mostly sunny skies throughout the week, with a chance of rain on Tuesday. Saturday is currently shaping up to be the wettest day, with a 60% chance of rain.
