As the days get shorter and the undeniable crisp of Fall is in the air, enjoy those last few fleeting moments of sunny summer days with a couple outdoor events, or opt for some cozy indoor time to prepare for the months ahead.

From sunset eats to Stonehenge exploration, here are 5 things happening in and around Victoria this Tuesday, September 10th:

Summer at Ship Point 

Summer’s not over yet!

Most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until September 19th, Ship Point will transform into a vibrant recreational, arts and cultural community hub.

Drop by between 4 and 8 p.m. this Tuesday to enjoy an array of local food truck cuisine and live music performed on the OUR DWTN stage.
This Tuesday’s featured busker is Aurielle Verville, and there will also be live folk music by Marina Avros.
Grab dinner with friends with the spectacular Inner Harbour nearing sunset as your backdrop, and enjoy the expanded green space complete with outdoor games such as giant chess, hula hoops and giant Jenga for the whole family to enjoy.

Yates Street Mural Celebration

Visit the Yates Street Community Garden from to celebrate the completion of the beautiful new mural designed and painted by Jesse Campbell!

Enjoy a free bike-blended smoothie and take a stroll around the garden, and TEALIYE/Brianna Bear will open the event with a Lekwungen welcome.

Jesse will talk about the design and the process of painting the mural, and there will also be live music by flamenco guitarist Iminah Kani, and colouring sheets for the kids!

Stonehenge at the Royal BC Museum

Learn how Stonehenge’s builders transported, shaped, and set the stones 4,500-5,000 years ago, creating a monument that has drawn people together for millennia.

Smut Slam “Adult Education”

Smut Slam is where people sign up to share very personal stories in a room full of strangers for a chance to win $100 cash!

Stories based on REAL life, REAL lust, REAL smut, hosted by the titillating and entertaining DD Brassiere.

Victoria Female Entrepreneur Networking Event

Join Felena Hanson, founder of Hera Hub, and other awesome female business owners from across the U.S. to connect and collaborate in a beautiful location.
