Ahoy Mateys!

Gather your crew and ready your sea legs, Pirate Pak Day is making a return to White Spot this Wednesday, August 14th.

Now in its 12th year, the annual event, which returned last year after a three-year hiatus due to COVID, invites guests of all ages to enjoy one of BC’s most cherished childhood traditions and a legendary dining experience, all while supporting a great cause: the Zajac Ranch for Children.

It’s the one day a year when adults can be kids again and enjoy their very own Pirate Pak!

Since its introduction in 1968, White Spot’s Pirate Pak has become a beloved staple for millions of ‘Little Mateys’ aged 10 and under.

For each adult and kids’ Pirate Pak sold through dine-in and take-out, $2 will be donated to the Zajac Ranch for Children, a beloved BC-based charity that helps send children and young adults to camp.

The ranch is devoted to providing unforgettable camp experiences for children and young adults facing life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities.

There, they enjoy activities like horseback riding, kayaking, and arts and crafts, all made accessible to help them overcome barriers and simply be kids.

“We’re all about families at White Spot. Delivering great guest experiences and giving back to the community is integral to who we are,” said Trent Carroll, President of White Spot.

“Pirate Pak Day is a treasured tradition for our team and for our guests. It’s a chance for everyone in the family to be a kid again, enjoy a legendary Pirate Pak and help give back to Zajac Ranch.”

In its 12th year, Pirate Pak Day has already raised a commendable $1,000,000, equivalent to 494,571 Pirate Paks sold.

The funds have sent hundreds of children and young adults to experience the joys of camp life at the 41-acre Zajac Ranch in Mission.

So don your best eyepatches, or go as you are, and join in the revelry of Pirate Pak Day at any of the White Spot locations.
