West Shore RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect after two reports of break-ins and theft.
A construction site at 3 Helmcken Road in View Royal was broken into on two separate occasions on Thursday, August 8th and Saturday, August 17th.
Police say construction tools and equipment were stolen from the site. The estimated worth of the stolen tools is approximately $20,000.
West Shore RCMP was able to secure footage of the suspect via CCTV cameras located near the construction site during the August 8th incident.
The CCTV footage reportedly depicts a man breaking into the site, stealing tools and equipment before departing in a black newer model SUV.
According to police, the suspect is described as a light-skinned man, around 25 to 40-years-old.
At the time of the theft, he was wearing light coloured pants, an orange and grey full sleeve shirt, reddish-brown shoes, a baseball cap and glasses.
In the footage acquired of the incident, police say there appears to be two unknown female passengers in the vehicle along with a medium sized dog.
