Comox Valley RCMP are looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in a theft that occurred in late July.
In a recent Facebook post, police have posted stills from surrounding surveillance cameras in hopes of identifying the two male suspects.

The incident occurred between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. during Market Day on Saturday, July 20th in Courtenay, where the suspect reportedly took a generator from a parking lot on the corner of 5th Street and England Avenue.
Investigators were able to retrieve surveillance footage from surrounding businesses, showing two men exchanging the stolen generator.
“We are concerned and disappointed that this theft affected not only local businesses but a community event meant for everyone to enjoy,” said Cst. Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer.
“We are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist us in ensuring that such events remain safe and pleasant for everyone.”
If anyone has any information on this incident or knows who the suspects are, call Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.
