Road rage incident leaves one injured in Burnside Road crash: VicPD

VicPD are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage after a suspected road rage incident resulted in a collision yesterday.

On Thursday, July 25th at around 11 a.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 400-block of Burnside Road East.

One vehicle was towed and one driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have reason to believe that there was some poor driving behaviour pre-collision as the vehicles travelled southeast on Burnside Road East between Balfour Avenue and Frances Avenue—which ultimately led to the crash.

The vehicles involved were a red sedan and a black pickup truck.

Police ask anyone who witnessed the pre-collision behaviour, or has dashcam footage both pre-collision and during collision, to call VicPD at (250) 995-7654.

The collision remains under investigation.
